Voices are suddenly very quiet

Processor is a Intel R Core TM i7-8700k CPU @ 3.80GHz (12CPUs), ~3.7GHz. I’m using NVIDIA Geforce gtx 1080. And a vive.

It was working fine up until now. But lately when I log on all the voices are quiet. Even the NPC’s in cutscenes are quiet. (My knighting ceremony was just music, the voice was so soft I couldn’t even make out the words.)

It’s super weird, because I haven’t changed anything. Same headphones as always…when I go into options my master volume and voice volumes are at full, and my normal computer volume is maxed out too. :confused:

Seen one instance like this, I think it was caused by a loose headphone jack.

I unplugged it and replugged it in. No affect. Then I unplugged it, plugged the headphones into the computer, started a game of overwatch (to test if it was game specific) plugged it back into vive, aaaand it works now. shrugs Very odd.
