Weird offset when running orbus on oculus through steamVR

The hands are way offset and move really weirdley compared to your actual hand position when running it on oculus through steamVR. This is not happening in any other game than orbus.

So we use different hand positions and angles for different systems due to the differences in the controllers. Likely we’ll do a different offset as well for e.g. the Valve Index controllers. Right now the game assumes if you are in SteamVR you are using the Vive wands so you are getting the position for those.

Are you running it via SteamVR for mixed reality purposes? Or?

it’s just for testing stuff, but I know some people would like to run it through steamVR to have tools like advanced settings and OVRDrop

Okay, yeah, we will have to fix that assumption when we start working on Index support (probably in the next few weeks) so when I do that I will see about using the Rift-based adjustment/angles even if you are running through SteamVR but are on a Rift.
