I’m currently playing One Hour One Life, but curious what everyone else is getting into now. It would be cool to get into a game where I can randomly meet someone who used to be an Orbus player.
Dungeons of Eternity, Ironstrike, Elite Dangerous, Oblivion Remastered, Gloomhaven
No social game has been the thing.
I’ve been doing a ton of escape room types, but heavens I miss y’all.
Actually I was trying to find something to play too. I played Dungeons of Eternity until maxed out all 3 chars.I played Ilysia until maxed out 3 chars - a DPS, a tank and a supp. I played Zenith until it got barely playable as you rarely find players online. I played Pixel Dungeons until maxed out my char - and I’m still playing it to get trophies and boss weapons. So I’d say this one is the one that keeps me using my headset ATM
Demeo, Walkabout, some No Man’s Sky, occasionally I go back into Enshrouded, and played Wayfinder for a while. Used to play Dungeons of Eternity and Into Black but my dominant shoulder is freezing so the pain says no to those. I know others are in pop-1 and VR Chat.
I am playing RiffXR and Ilysia. Both are good in their own way, depends on my mood.
I just looked up RiffXR and I chuckled when the first thing I read on their tag line is ‘No more excuses’ hahah they know how it is
Roblox, realm craft, neolithic dawn , ilysia. But im desperatly looking for another game as im seriously missing orbus.
I’m playing Minecraft, Dungeons of Eternity, and Demeo. I always have an eye on the VR store for more games too. I miss Orbus a lot. Even though I did plenty of dungeons, raids, world bosses etc., I miss hanging out with other players and just meandering around the world.
I’m playing Demeo for the most part. Leveled two characters in Oathbreakers to 100, leveled 5 characters in Dungeons of Eternity to 60 (broke down two to start over), leveled 4 classes in RiffXR to where I wanted them to be, but lost interest when the latest professions were introduced. So, mostly DoE, and Demeo. I sooo miss Orbus.
Consider giving a look at Ironstrike. Pretty cool spellcasting and the melee is a ton of fun (in my opinion at least )
dungeons of eternity is a really cool game, but it still doesn’t compare to orbus. they’re totally different kinds of games
I haven’t played a VR MMO in a while. I found out Orbus was shut down today. It was the only VR MMO I ever liked. Zenith was cool for its fast-paced combat and gliding, but it didn’t feel as immersive as Orbus and didn’t feel like a traditional MMO the way Orbus did. That is to say Orbus scratched an itch nothing else did. I doubt anything will scratch that itch again on PCVR for a while, but I’ve played a few Quest exclusives which came close to as good… for a short while. I also kind of liked playing Gorilla Tag and similar games for a while, but that got old, and I didn’t like having to deal with all the try-hards and risk breaking controllers to keep up.
Currently, I’m only playing single player stuff with a casual session of VRChat or Wooorld every now and then. I might give Resonite a try soon, because I liked Neos a lot back in the day. I’m looking out for something new, but I’m not currently seeing anything exciting in the MMO space.
I’m a little biased, but have you heard of Eldramoor?
Is that out on some platform already? I has previously wishlisted that on Steam but heard nothing else about it.
We’re still in development, won’t be out for a bit yeah.
I also just got Elements Divided and that is a whole other level of fun haha. It’s like Rumble, but better progression, PVE modes, and 4 elements instead of just Earth.
Dungeons of Eternity scratches the dungeon crawl experience for me currently. It should be coming to Steam extremely soon.
When I want to feel like a mage again, I play Ironstrike. Great roguelike game from the developers of Ironlights.
just oldschool runescape, and it sucks can someone make Orbus open source please
haha Oathbreakers fr? I thought they gave up on that a while back. I guess they’ve worked on it since I gave it a go
OMG yes can you guys make it open source?? even if you make Oldbus open source, or take out parts you can’t share or something… at the very least keep the source code in a game museum or something lol
