just wondering will this be on home cause when it is release i would want the oculus home key for my pre-order i like it better than steamvr
We are in the process of implementing the Oculus SDK now so that you no longer need SteamVR to run it on Rift. We will be applying to place it onto Home when we get closed to Early Access. Our idea situation is that it would be on there at the same time it’s on Steam. That said, Steam already has approved us internally so we are basically in control of when we want that to happen, whereas Oculus has not (although they don’t pre-approve like Steam did so that’s normal). So I guess long story short, yes that’s what we’d like, but since we haven’t officially been approved yet I can’t actually promise it. We will do our best to get on there, and I don’t know why we wouldn’t be able to.
