Hello!
I am using a windows mixed reality mode. Would it be possible to use the joysticks on the controllers to move? I currently use the touchpad, but its not very good.

Hi !
I have the same problem, i havn’t found any option for this…
Somebody know how to do this ?
Same request here.
Today I tried my WMR Headset with Orbus and my first thought was “It must be hard for Vive-Players to play with the touchpad”
I usually play Orbus with my Rift and intent to switch to the Samsung Odyssey because of the better resolution. But I was shocked, how hard it is to play with the touchpad instead of the joysticks.
Although I cannot walk with the right touchpad when I have my wand equipped.
Also, could it be, that my movement is much slower on WMR? Seems so to me, but I will try it next I’m online with anyone of our fellowship.
I’m a litte bit spoiled with the Touch Controllers of my Rift
I never actually tried it, but I think the control can be remapped, this article might be useful https://www.windowscentral.com/how-enable-windows-mixed-reality-joysticks-any-steamvr-game
I’ve tried this already. Sadly, this is no real remap of the control. This one simulates a movement in the real world, like you are going out of your house and walking to the gas station or something.
It is not acting as I was hoping. I.e. because of turning in Orbus with the joystick, the turning happens around the center of the play-area in Steam, it bahaves like I am going very far away of my play-area and turning in a VERY bigger circle around this center.
In fact of this, I think this workaround is not an option.
I tried to plaly the last weekend again, but there is no way to move comfortable with the touchpads of t he mixed reality controller. A support for the joysticks are very very very necessary.
You can actually use the joysticks to move using the Oculus Rift version of the game using Revive to access the Oculus Rift library. You’d have to buy the game again though…
