personally, I think this DLC is great it added something new like climbing and treasure hunting and even escort which I missed from the old game so I really hope to see more new mechanics added in a future mini pack or just in general it gives the game more freshness to it

I think climbing and treasure hunting definitly would spice-up the core game alsoā€¦ itā€™s so cool to see things from above.

I mainly grind the questing dungeon now, played warrior, mage and ranger for the first time since the OG to get all the gear - the drop rate is decent (though I donā€™t have all weapons yet; edit: and with a high luck perk it isā€¦), very nice to grind there. And I noticed another great thing, this dungeon is awesome to practice (new) classesā€¦ since mobs are not in groups (or donā€™t respawn, so easy to separate them), you donā€™t loose durability and need to repair all the time and thereā€™s no other players (or only party) who watches you miss all these arrows :wink: ā€¦ I love it.

We really appreciate all the feedback so far folks, itā€™s great to see you experience positively what weā€™ve been working hard on for the last months, as well as noting what we can definitely improve on.

At the moment weā€™re still working on fixing the remaining bugs with the new content, and weā€™ll really pour through and read all the discussion and comments weā€™ve received.

Quick note: Saw some comments about the mob density especially in zone 1, we bumped up manually how many mobs were spawning early on as the rush of people was making it hard to quest the first couple quests with the respawn rate. Weā€™ll likely lower it down now to a normal level that people are more spread out through the content.

Weā€™ll double check this quest and see what might be happening, I suspect if you log on today in a new zone then it would work properly but let us know if it bugs out again.

Please donā€™t lower it by alot. I actually donā€™t want to see it lowered at all TBH. :grimacing: (I understand the lowering though)

I mean, the number make farming super easy, but it just feels like theres almost too many compared to the density everywhere else in the world.

Also @Mathieu_D Can i ask what the reason for monsters to drop the Questing item ā€˜Essense Flowerā€™ before, during, and after the only mission that requires them? I dont suppose theres a way to make them drop only when youre doing the quest? I think theres other quests that do it that way in the game. Overall it just makes you have trash to toss or monsters you dont want to kill do you dont have your inventory fill with trash

It feels better and more fun for me to see a swarm of mobs together, and more alive, instead of getting the feeling of uugh a few mobs in the way of my path.

Okay, i can see your point. Maybe we should just leave it as is and see how it goes. tho one thing id like to see is, as cool as those burrowing plants are, id rather i didnt get jumped by 2, 3, 4, of them all at once. I want to see them cause theyre probs the coolest monster in orbus right now, but getting jumped by multiples at one is very difficult to manage at times. And because they burrow and just appear on you, its hard to ā€˜just avoid pulling themā€™

I think the density in that zone needs to be so that all kinds of players can enjoy itā€¦ I mean we had a blast with our +6 weapons and high defense and what not, nearly invulnerable, regardless how many greenies are around. However I saw a group of kids struggling and dying over and over in that crowd, as well as newer solo players, thatā€™s no more fun if you just started out with the game/dlc and canā€™t get past towards the first quest npc.

For those fond of many mobs perhaps place groups not in the middle of the road, but like those red mobs in side areas where itā€™s optional to encounter them? Orā€¦ put them in instances, more questing/farming dungeons would be oh-so-cool!

Also in the questing dungeon thereā€™s few more or less crowded places; fine for pallys which jump in and enjoy, but I tried to farm with all classes and for some (warriorā€¦) it was a pain carefully separating them to only pull one.

And a little bug report (in the verbal sense of the word) at least 2-3 little bugs and one little spider in the - I think - narrowest curve are bugged out, not getting in combat/leashing all the time.

Uhm I just visited Mugwoods and Thorndell Meadows (which wasnā€™t flooded with players in the first placeā€¦), and they now feel real empty like every 20m a mob if another player did not kill that isā€¦ I mean, we still need mobs for the grinder without playing hide and seekā€¦ :smiley: ? Perhaps a middle way between 30 on a spot and 2 can be found :smiley:?

This^. Opening days number were so bad, maybe just 10% decrease if that?

I think it needs to be brought back to what it started with, BUT everywhere you absolutely need to kill the monsters for a MAINSTORY escort quest should only be upped a bit. Everwhere else up it again. I know that is more work then just up or lower spawners but this is really needed for the feeling of the dlc livelyness.
