New Player Help Day 1/19/18

For those who are unable to attend, Here is a link to a stream!

This Friday at 6:30pm CST Ready Player One would like to invite all players to meet in Highsteppe to host a new player event.

Purpose: The purpose of this event is to teach new players the basics of the game and also assist them with questions that they may have about classes and quests.

What we need:

  1. Quest materials donations to help players with items to complete quests.
  2. Quest completion assistants to help guide new players around to help them on a quest they are stuck on.
  3. Class role experts for all classes- Especially Runemages.
  4. Portal Jockeys to port people around.

If you are interested in helping- please reply to this post so I know I can count on your help.

If you aren’t able to help with attending the event but can help with item donation that would be wonderful!

Not sure I’ll be on, but what a cool idea. If you’re in Highsteppe (spelling? idk) before then, I’ll drop some mats off. IGN Belphegor :slight_smile:

Oh I actually put that because I have no idea how it’s spelled haha. I’ve spelled it with one p, two p’s, just wanted to get the word across. Didn’t mean to come off as snarky. I’ll see about collecting some potion ingredients before then!

Hey, I’d like to volunteer as a warrior expert. I think this is a really cool idea for helping build the community and acclimate new players to the harder to grasp game mechanics.

Question: do you anticipate a big enough turnout to assume help / participants on however many shards may happen at the time, or will you create a LFG post to try to get everyone on the same shard?

I can also volunteer for some basic runemage stuff, field trips for wand quest, and/or beginner fishing

I’m sparky the leader of The Well of Urd we are at the moment a primarily community focused guild and was wondering if you wanted some more help, We have very high levelled players depending on who we can get to show up and are very interested in helping out with this in some way.

I would love it! This is all about the community and the more fellowships helping the better! If you want to meet up later today or any day this, week maybe we can come up with some other ideas of what we can do.

I’ll try to be there. Look for Cowboy. I have a decent stash of materials and I can help with Ranger training.

I can also teach fishing, if anyone wants to learn.
