I didn’t understand if you were being sarcastic or not. My main thing is that artificing was something that was seemingly originally designed to be done periodically, where the knowledge was valuable but the resources were easy and the artifice sets were not too hard to brew/ create. Certain resources are not easy to get Obsidian (Because it’s used multiple times in many runes) or Linstanium because there are only a handful of ores into the world at any point in time.
The infusion specialist was designed as a quality of life update. It doesn’t even cost money. If we could transfer the applied set for some amount of dram I would pay that. I think @Riley_D even said that the point was to avoid the whole 2 steps forward 1 step back. For example I got some 213 perfect techno gloves late last week, last night I got some non perfect 214 gloves. Normally that would be a no brainer, but I’m weighing whether it is worth the effort to have to remake that set for a 1 armor gain.
Thanks for clarifying. That does make sense, but I at least hope runes last quite a while in that case. Farming rocks, and matts for potions can be a bit much. I better find a way to rack up the dram lol.
Sorry to take so long to reply but I did want to just clarify with you. You asked if it was possible to remove or retain a set. I was just merely suggesting that it shouldn’t be a full set removal for free otherwise you would just need to make one set and retain that forever. And to help the economics of the game (be it dram or materials) I suggested maybe in the removal/ retention process you get materials (or tiles) back at random, rather than the entire set. This way you will have to create new tiles for sets and keep the economy going, by having to either farm mats, buy mats at stalls or pay someone to make a set for you. Another idea would be a retention/ transfer limit… say 3 transfers before it cant be transferred anymore.
To have one set be retained would be, as I said, too convenient.
I hope to add custom UI to the different stations in your home instance some time in the future to make things a bit more clear, especially with the dragon breeding.
In a patch going out today, I added a burning effect in the terrarium that will play when you meet the requirements for the breeding process to work to help tell the player that something is happening.
OK so let’s look at breeding a [Brown, Green] with a [Green, Green]. Here we have 50% chance to roll [Brown, Green] and 50% chance to roll [Green, Green]. In this case, does each [Green, Green] of the punnett square have a 50% chance for mutation to [Green, Blue], resulting in 25% [Green, Green] and 25% [Green, Blue], or is it still only 12.5% with a 37.5% chance of [Green, Green]?
