PvE DPS Class Balance

This doesn’t relate to the topic. The extent that the un capped rapidity talent pushed the human arms to was borderline dangerous. People were playing this game everyday, and continuous damage to any of the body’s muscles without ample time to heal is obviously a bad thing.

so what is the difference between warrior, mage, and rapidity ranger? just because u dont hurt yourself, doesnt mean others dont. and that is fine. but is also in all other classes
and obviously when i said

i mean in context, in where u were talking, not in retrospect

and when u say that only mages playing the class wrong ever hurt themselves u must be only one of 2 mages playing the class correctly

Warrior provokes are capped so people won’t hurt themselves, rapidity is capped so people won’t hurt themselves, if mage is played correctly (the way that would warrant a cap, in your opinion) people won’t hurt themselves.

warrior provokes are capped at 4+ swings per second. higher than rapidity and with longer motion of the arm, and varying directions that dont flow together
when ranger was un capped no one had ever hurt themselves
and i applaud you of being one of 2 mages who can play correctly

Warrior is capped at 5 swings, and you can do short swings and have the exact same effect.

No one you knew. It is extremely ignorant to say something like “no one in the world of orbs has ever done this before a single time” because you obviously don’t know everything.

This makes no sense. Every endgame mage is capable of playing the class without injuring themselves.

I want to ask you some questions Kamina, have you ever actually tried to be a mage? Did you ever reach 1.5 spells per second?

Warrior cap = not hurt themselves
Ranger cap = not hurt themselves
Mage cap = Na that has nothing to do with hurt themselves (sarcasm) :joy:

Sounds irrational to me Sift…

Every end game Warrior and Ranger who had enough experience won’t hurt themselves without a cap either. Can confirm as a Warrior can ‘fake’ provoke faster then allowed and I feel nothing anymore :man_shrugging:

They got capped because of too much damage. Just like mage needs it.

hate to say, but i knew every single person in the original orbus who spent more than 20 hours in the game, we have a list would u like to see

Whoah is this about nerfing mages. (btw did not read entire thread just some)

You fail to see the point. If there was no cap on warrior/archer, then the best way to play it would be to swing/shoot as fast as humanly possible. The only ways to hurt yourself as a mage are not efficient ways of playing the class, while the other unsafe methods (fast swinging/shooting), are the best ways of playing their classes (uncapped of course)

so ur saying the best mage dps isnt to spam out ur rotation as fast as possible?

lol sift does not have a rotation XD just spam every dam spell out as fast as possible XD

Of course it is, but the fastest way to do this inflicts no injuries onto the caster. Please think before posting.

For you it does not inflict injuries… And I am guessing for rapidity ranger and warriors there will be also that few that won’t inflict injury on the fastest way possible.

this whole discussion is leading to absolutely nothing right now. Let’s take a step back and reset.

Can we please get back on to the topic of scoundrels  ?

now wth is wrong with them?

on the topic of scoundrels, i think they should make the cards significantly more important than they are and reduce the basic shot damage (i think it should be like gambit)

Lol for somebody who played the class correctly because they enjoyed how it works.

I was about to quote this

with many many added :joy: :joy: :joy: … slowly don’t think that works without separating threads and also I think noone has even considered seriously playing scoundrels in pve, yet (or will anytime soon), so well…

There was this one monkey who took scoundrel very very seriously but i believe that he has gone bananas and ran off in to the jungle.
